Site Image
Widget size: 1 x 1
The Site Image widget is the same as the Image widget, except that the image to be displayed can vary, by linking it to sites, selected via the Dashboard TreeView Navigator.
The supported image types are: jpg, png, and gif.
All images must be uploaded via the File Manager page into the folder Custom Image Folder.
There are 3 different methods to configure what image is displayed:
Organisation Display Name - Default Image
An image with the Display Name (if Display Name exists), or Organisation name (if no Display Name exists) of the currently logged on users organisation, will be the default image for the widget. This information can be found on the Organisation Administration page.
Example: In the organisation above, called Oil And Gas. A Display Name exists, so the image would need to be called by it (i.e., Oil And Gas Display.jpg). With this set, the image will be the default, regardless of the TreeView selection, unless the selected container/site has its own container or attribute configuration (see next 2 methods).
Container Name
An image may possess the name of a container/site from within the TreeView.
Example: In the screenshot below, there is an image called Site 1.png that is displayed in the live Site Image widget when the container, also known as Site 1, is selected from the TreeView.
Container Attribute
A container/site may possess an attribute that has the name of an image (excluding its extension) as its value. The attribute is configured in the widget Image Attribute setting. The default attribute is SITE_IMAGE.
Example: In the screenshot below, the image called my image.gif is displayed in the live widget, because the container Site 1 has the attribute SITE_IMAGE applied, with a value of my image, and Site 1 is selected from the TreeView.
